You are invited to a week long Yoga/Sailing retreat on the island of Ibiza for seven nights from October 8th through the 14th.
Barbara Sloan and Richard Brookens will teach morning Yoga classes including Pranayama and Meditation, drawing on Sivananda and Vinyasa practices. Richard will also provide live music (percussion and bamboo flutes) for Barbara\'s evening classes. The entire week will include daily sailing trips into the beautiful Mediterranean Sea and to surrounding Islands, healthy organic food, and some group drumming (bring your drums), providing you the opportunity for relaxation, rejuvenation, and bliss.
All on the magical island of Ibiza located off the southern coast of Spain!
We will stay in Sitar\'s villa that is on top of a mountain overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. �This house has been in her family for over 600 years!

Richard Brookens will be performing as part of the Flamenco in the Sun Performance Series which runs from July 23rd to August 6th. He will be performing in Espejos Del Alma (Mirrors to the Soul) on July 30th at the Manuel Artime Theater in Miami at 8 PM and on July 31st at the Amaturo Theater at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts at 7 PM.

His original composition, based on the rhythms of choreographer Omayra Amaya, is titled \"Bulerias Swing\" and is also influenced by Jazz harmonies juxtaposed with Afro-cuban rhythms. Richard (on Bass Clarinet), will be joined by Vindhya Khare (Grand piano), Yue Tang (Cello), and four of the dancers from the Bailles Ferrer Flameco dance company (under the direction of Damaris Ferrer).
